We’re rolling out a new, smarter search engine and based on recent feedback, we know Boolean is important to some job seekers when they search on SEEK. Currently in our new search, you can use the Boolean search operators ‘OR’ and ‘AND’. Over the next few weeks we will re-enable the remaining Boolean search operators such as ‘NOT’, plus the exact phrase search (using “quotation marks”).
You can improve your search results further, by using the Classification, Sub-Classification and Location fields as well as the work types and salary filters. If you’re looking for the most relevant jobs choose Sorted by relevance, rather than using Sorted by date. Also, try using the listed filter, and select Last 3 days or Last 7 days. Need more help? Our mission at SEEK is to help connect you with relevant opportunities, and we welcome your feedback as we continue to test and improve our new search engine.
