Employers who use SEEK have the ability to headhunt for the person to fill their role. So if your profile appears in their searches and your credentials match the jobs they're looking to fill, they may get in touch with you. Whether you can be contacted depends on the profile visibility setting you choose.
If your visibility is set to Standard, employers can either contact you via the details contained within your resumé or send a message via SEEK inviting you to view the job opportunity. If your visibility is set to Limited, employers can send a message via SEEK. Employers cannot contact you if your profile visibility is Hidden.
When you apply for a job on SEEK certain parts of your SEEK Profile (career history, education, licences & certifications, and skills) are sent with your application. This occurs irrespective of your profile visibility setting. In this case, employers may contact you using the contact details you provided in your application.
